{"id":18454,"date":"2025-04-12T14:06:41","date_gmt":"2025-04-12T12:06:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bfg.pl\/?post_type=faq&#038;p=18454"},"modified":"2025-05-21T11:21:41","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T09:21:41","slug":"who-is-a-depositor","status":"publish","type":"faq","link":"https:\/\/bfg.pl\/en\/faq\/who-is-a-depositor\/","title":{"rendered":"Who is a depositor?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A person or entity entitled to guaranteed funds is a\u00a0<strong>depositor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the event of a bank or a branch of a foreign bank the following are depositors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>natural persons,<\/li>\n<li>legal persons,<\/li>\n<li>organisational units without legal personality but possessing legal capacity,<\/li>\n<li>school savings associations,<\/li>\n<li>employee assistance-and-loan associations,<\/li>\n<li>parent\u2019s councils.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the event of a cooperative savings and credit union, the following are depositors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>natural persons,<\/li>\n<li>NGOs within the meaning of the Act on Public Service Activity and Volunteering,<\/li>\n<li>organisational units of a church or religious organisation which are legal persons,<\/li>\n<li>cooperatives,<\/li>\n<li>trade unions,<\/li>\n<li>tenants\u2019 communities,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Act on the Bank Guarantee Fund, Deposit Guarantee Scheme and Resolution (Article 22 paragraph 1) also stipulates that not all credit union account holders at banks and credit unions are entitled to depositor status (see: Question 5).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","format":"standard","class_list":["post-18454","faq","type-faq","status-publish","format-standard","hentry"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/bfg.pl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/faq\/18454","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/bfg.pl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/faq"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/bfg.pl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/faq"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/bfg.pl\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=18454"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
